HOA Accountant, Steamboat Resorts by Wyndham Vacation Rentals
Responsible for producing monthly financial statements for Homeowners Associations in a timely manner. Financial statements include a Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Homeowner Accounts Receivable report, Major Maintenance Reserve Schedule and any additional reports required by the Association's Board of Directors. This position maintains the Association's Accounts Payable to outside vendors and the Homeowner's assessment billings. This position prepares the Association's Annual Budgets. This position works closely with each Association's Board of Directors and General Manager. This position presents financials and budgets at Homeowner's meetings and Board of Directors meetings.

1. Experience with HOA Accounting and/or property management background is required.

2. Strong knowledge of standard accounting principles and procedures.

3. Bachelor's Degree or higher in the area of accounting, business management or related field.

4. Expert Excel skills.

5. Experience with property management software, spreadsheet software and word processing.

Ability to anticipate busy schedules and communicate with other members of the organization/department to complete assignments on time. High sense of urgency. The successful candidate will interact with others in a way that gives them confidence in one's intentions and those of the organization. A proven track record of cultivating strategic customer relationships (with external and external customers) and ensuring that the customer perspective is the driving force behind all value-added business activities is required.
